Recently, designer, Alexander McQueen, decided to take the traditional runway show and make it his own. In addition to a great collection, McQueen collaborated with photographer David Sims in the very “artistic” film, that to me, has not a darn thing to do with fashion. My guess is that it was a great opening to the runway show and it today’s recession you need any, and everything, to make your collection stand out. Which may be the reason that McQueen decided to go with painted suit jackets and slacks, something we don’t see too often. He even placed a paint-debris look on the shoes which oddly appears pretty clean; which is the overall vibe of this collection. McQueen never fails to amaze me and although I’m not fully behind his unfashionable fashion film, I give him an A for effort. Here are a few more of the risque’ designs for you to check out.
